You planned something real. We are here to capture it that way. We are a wife and wife team working as Cape Town wedding photographers and filmmakers, and we do things a little differently. We shoot both stills and cinematic documentary film, not as two separate packages, but as one complete way of telling your story from beginning to end.
As Cape Town wedding photographers, we believe the best images happen when you forget we are there. We blend in, stay close, and keep our eyes open. We are not the kind of photographers who pull you away from your guests for endless posed shots. We are the ones in the corner capturing the look your person gives you when they think no one is watching. From the quiet moments getting ready to the last song of the night, we are there for all of it, in photo and on film.
CINEMATIC DOCUMENTARY WEDDING FILMS
Our wedding films are not music videos of your wedding day. Your wedding film is not a highlight reel set to trending audio. It is a thoughtfully crafted cinematic documentary of your actual day, the voices, the laughter, the vows spoken and the ones whispered. The combination of wedding photography and film give you the complete picture, and as Cape Town wedding photographers and passionate filmmakers, when it comes to telling your story, we would not have it any other way.
WHERE WE SHOOT
We are based in Cape Town and shoot across South Africa, from the Winelands and the Garden Route to safari lodges and city ceremonies. We know this African light, these vast landscapes, and these dreamy venues intimately. Choosing a Cape Town wedding photographer means choosing someone who knows exactly how the late afternoon sun hits the Franschhoek mountains, and how to use it.
We also travel internationally. Our work has taken us to Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Bali, Taiwan and Ireland. We are actively seeking weddings in Mauritius, Zanzibar, Bali, and Italy. If your wedding is somewhere beautiful, we want to be there.

As Cape Town and South African wedding photographers we have documented elopements on mountain tops, at the water's edge, and everywhere in between. Simple, powerful, completely yours.
But here is where we go a little further than most. Between us we have travelled and shot across all over the continent and beyond.
We also have established relationships with trusted service providers and dedicated destination wedding travel planners across multiple countries, so if you are dreaming of eloping somewhere extraordinary and have no idea where to start, we are genuinely the right people to call. We help with the planning, the logistics, and the people you need around you, and then we document all of it beautifully, with you as the star of your amazing story.

FAQs
Do you travel for weddings and what does that look like?
We absolutely travel for weddings and elopements! As South African and Cape Town wedding photographers, we are ideally situated near an international airport and can be anywhere in the world in... well, as long as it takes a plane to fly. We're very adept at getting around, so we'll handle all the travel arrangements on our side so you don't have to worry about anything. We include local travel up to 50km from our location, give or take. Any longer distances, flights, car rental and accommodation if applicable will be added to your quote. We'll communicate everything with you.
Do we need to be comfortable in front of the camera?
It really isn't necessary, because as professional photographers, we know exactly how to get you out of your shell. As long as you are willing to cooperate, most of the problem is already solved. We direct and guide, we do not pose, so you won't even know that we're doing it, and you'll have honest and real pictures that show you as you are, not stiff and awkward, but relaxed and present.
How long after our wedding will we receive our photos and film?
Typically you're looking at delivery 14 weeks after your wedding date, keeping in mind public holidays and school holidays. You'll receive previews within two weeks of your wedding date.
Do you shoot both the photography and film yourselves or do you bring in a separate team?
We shoot both the photo and the film ourselves. If your wedding is larger than 150 guests or if you require an extended film, we will bring in second shooters or video assistants as needed. In our over 18+ years of experience in the industry, we have built a network of trusted professionals who know our style and how we work, so you can rest assured that your most important day is in good hands, and we'll still be there every step of the way, making sure your wedding day experience is a top notch one.
The Wedding + Elopement Experience
STEP 01
Let's meet!
Once you've reached out, we'll schedule a coffee date or a video call. This gives you the opportunity to see if you like our faces, and to see if we'd be a good fit in this journey. We learn about your vision. This helps us advise you on the best way forward, and the collection that will suit you best.
STEP 02
Confirm your date
Once you're happy to go ahead with booking us, we will send you a contract. Upon signing the contract and paying the booking fee, your date is now secured. One more thing to cross off the list!
STEP 03
Planning and details
Once we're booked, the next big step is about a month before your date, when we'll do a check-in call and discuss the timeline, any details you have planned, or surprises. We are of course always available if you have questions or if you need assistance or recommendations and we'd be happy to help where we can.
STEP 04
The big day
It's finally here! All your plans and dreams finally realise. All you have to do is to relax and be totally present for every moment. We'll make sure it's all captured and that you'll have photo and video you can treasure.
